Pastor
Pam graduated with honors from
Lutheran
Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, S.C., in May
2006. She is a second-career pastor with over 15 years of work experience in education and training and development.
Pastor Pam has a bachelor's degree from East Carolina University and a master's degree in education from N.C. State University. Her internship year was spent at St. James Lutheran Church in Fayetteville. She won awards for preaching in both her second and senior years in seminary.
Pastor Pam is a trained Stephen Ministry Leader and has worked as part of a ministry team to establish a Stephen Ministry program. She has served as youth ministry team coordinator, an adult and children's Sunday School teacher, and has directed Vacation Bible School. She is actively involved with
Eastern N.C. Via de Cristo and has worked actively in church-related social ministry programs like the Crop Walk and Habitat for Humanity.
Pastor Pam and her husband, Bob, have been married for
30
years. They have two adult daughters, Amanda, a fifth-grade teacher in
Western North Carolina, and Becky, a personnel recruiter in Tampa, Florida. |
