Erica joined the OSLC staff in June of
2009 after she graduated with honors from
Elon University.
She grew up in Asheville, NC where her parents still live.
Erica has worked as a counselor at
Lutheridge, a camp for
children from 1st to 12th grade. Service has been
hugely important in her life throughout high school, college and
now at OSLC. She has completed many service-work
opportunities, including international Habitat for Humanity work
in Guatemala and the Dominican Republic. Travel has also been a
big part of Erica's life: she has spent two weeks in France, two
weeks in Spain, a month in Guatemala, a week in the Dominican
Republic and four months in Perugia,
Italy studying the Italian language, Roman history,
Michelangelo, and the Italian way of life.
As the Director of Education, Youth, and
Family Ministries, Erica is responsible for the development of
several different aspects of the church including Sunday school
for all ages, Youth events, summer camps, and milestone
ministries, just to name a few!
In her free time, Erica likes to spend time
with her dog, Dakota, and cat, Piper. She enjoys reading,
rock climbing, and good food!
